1. What is @608 Carver?


@608 Carver is a photography-based magazine that celebrates real stories through powerful imagery. It’s where artistry and emotion meet, and it all began in the place that sparked my love for photography—608 Carver.

2. Is there a fee to submit to the magazine?


Nope! Submission is free. There’s no charge to share your work or your story with us.

3. Do contributors get paid for submissions?


Not at this time. While we don’t offer payment, we do offer professional exposure, storytelling support, and a creative platform that celebrates your work.

4. How many photos can I submit?


You can submit up to 8 images, but please note: there is no guarantee that all will be selected for publication.

5. Do I have to submit a headshot or bio?


If you are a featured artist for the Artist Spotlight, yes. Please include a photo of yourself, a brief write-up about your photography business or your creative journey, and a few words about the images you're submitting.

6. Will I receive a discount on printed copies if my work is featured?


No. At this time, photographers and contributors do not receive discounts on print orders. However, we encourage you to proudly share and promote your published feature!

7. Can I subscribe to @608 Carver?


Currently, no.  Subscriptions will not be available digitally and in print. Hopefully that will be made available later. Stay tuned.

8. How often does the magazine come out?


@608 Carver is a monthly publication.  Each edition will have a unique theme and welcomes all genres of photography.

9. Can I submit work for every issue?


Yes! We encourage returning contributors, but we also aim to keep things fresh and diverse. Be sure to check the theme before submitting.

10. What kind of photography is featured?


We welcome a wide range of genres: lifestyle, editorial, family, creative portraiture, and more. If it tells a story—we’re interested.

11. Will I be notified if I’m selected for a feature?

Yes! If your submission is selected, you’ll receive an official email letting you know which issue you’ll appear in. We’ll also share how you can help promote your feature across your platforms.
