Image Submission Requirements
Great images deserve great presentation. Here’s how to prep your files so they’re ready to shine:
• Images must be sized to 8.5x11 inches and exported at 300 DPI
• Save-as high-resolution JPEGs (.JPG) using sRGB color space
• No watermarks or logos on images—clean, unbranded files only
• Vertical and horizontal images are accepted for interior spreads
• Only vertical (portrait) images will be considered for the magazine cover
Please note:
You will not receive an email if your files are the wrong size, format, or resolution. Files that don’t meet these guidelines or appear low quality will not be considered for publication.

By submitting your work to @608Carver Magazine, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. Original Work
All submitted images must be created and owned by you, the photographer. You confirm that you hold full copyright and have permission from all individuals featured in the images.
2. Model Releases
Photographers must obtain and provide signed model releases for all recognizable individuals in their images. A parent or guardian must sign for minors.
3. Publication Rights
By submitting, you grant @608Carver Magazine non-exclusive rights to publish, display, and promote your work across print, digital, and social media platforms. You retain full ownership and copyright of your images.
4. Exclusivity
Images that have been previously published in other print magazines are not eligible. Online features (such as on social media or your website) are acceptable.
5. Image Quality and Formatting
Submissions must follow the posted file guidelines, including size, resolution, color space, and file naming format. Files that do not meet these requirements may be rejected without notice.
6. Editing and Layout
The magazine reserves the right to crop, resize, or make minimal adjustments to images for layout and design purposes. All edits will maintain the integrity and artistic vision of your work.
7. Selection Process
Submission does not guarantee publication. The editorial team carefully reviews each entry, and only selected images will appear in the magazine. Photographers whose work is chosen will be credited.
8. No Compensation
At this time, publication in @608Carver Magazine does not include monetary compensation. Selection offers exposure and professional recognition within the photography community.
9. Withdrawal of Submission
If you wish to withdraw your submission, you must notify us in writing before publication. Once the magazine issue goes to print or is published digitally, removal requests cannot be honored.
10. Agreement
By submitting images, you agree that you have read, understood, and accepted all of the above terms.
