A Night of Soul, Spirit & Pure Energy: Fantasia & Anthony Hamilton Baton Rouge Concert

Updated: Dec 2, 2025

What Made the Fantasia and Anthony Hamilton Baton Rouge Concert Unforgettable

Baton Rouge felt different on concert night — like the whole city took a breath, put on something nice, and decided to step out and enjoy some real grown-folk music. When Fantasia and Anthony Hamilton brought their tour to the Raising Cane’s River Center, the vibe was electric before the lights even dimmed.

And once the show started, every single artist kept pushing the energy higher.

If you missed the Fantasia and Anthony Hamilton Baton Rouge concert, you missed a show....

Stacii Adams Opened the Night with Smooth, Easy Confidence

Stacii Adams stepped onto the stage like a man who knows exactly what he’s doing. No rush. No extra. Just smooth confidence and a voice that filled the room the moment he opened his mouth.

His tone was warm, steady, and soulful — the kind of sound that settles everybody down and pulls the whole crowd in without forcing it. He set the perfect foundation for the night, letting us know from the jump that we were in for something special.

Mr. Magic Mark Williams Lit Up the Room With Humor, Heart & a Soothing Soprano Voice

Next came Mr. Magic Mark Williams, and Baton Rouge welcomed him like family. His personality hit the stage before he did — funny, energetic, and full of that natural charm he’s known for.

He had the crowd dancing, singing, and leaning into every moment.

Then came the surprise for anyone hearing him live for the first time... that soothing soprano voice.

Soft. Clear. Beautiful. It added a whole layer of emotion to his set — a gentle balance to the crowd work. The arena literally shifted as people tuned in to catch every note.

Mr. Magic carried the energy effortlessly and made sure the crowd was ready for what came next.

Anthony Hamilton & The Hamiltones: A Soul Experience You Feel in Your Chest

When Anthony Hamilton stepped out with The Hamiltones, the vibe changed instantly. His voice — that gritty, honey-coated sound he’s famous for — hit completely different live.

He moved through classics, heartbreak confessions, two-step grooves, and those timeless Hamilton songs that make the whole arena sing without being asked.

The Hamiltones were flawless behind him. Their harmonies wrapped around his voice like silk, warm and tight, adding humor, soul, and depth to the entire performance.

But Baton Rouge was about to get a blessing nobody saw coming.

Apostle Mardia Scott: A Surprise Guest With Purpose, Power & Homegrown Spirit

When Apostle Mardia Scott walked onstage, the crowd exploded. It wasn’t just a feature — it felt like a homecoming.

A Baton Rouge native, Apostle Scott has spent his life weaving together entertainment, ministry, and entrepreneurship. With nearly 20 years as an ordained minister, he’s committed to serving people who often feel forgotten — especially those in underserved or at-risk communities.

His Love Is Amazing (HLIA) Movement reflects that mission, connecting faith, outreach, and empowerment.

One of the key parts of this movement is the HLIA clothing line, a brand built on identity, positivity, and purpose. But these aren’t just T-shirts:

  • HLIA apparel symbolizes belonging, hope, and encouragement.

  • Thousands of pieces have been distributed to formerly incarcerated individuals as a way to restore dignity and confidence.

  • In some outreach programs, the shirts even act as a “pass” for faith gatherings, mentorship sessions, or community support.

It’s more than fashion — it’s ministry you can wear.

Seeing him stand alongside Anthony Hamilton brought an unexpected spiritual weight to the night… a reminder that soul music and soul healing often move together.

Fantasia Set the Stage on Fire — Then Brought It Back to Church

And then… it was time.

Fantasia stepped out with that fire only she can bring. From the first note, she was all in — raw, emotional, powerful, and unapologetically herself.

She commanded the entire room.

She told stories through her music.

She moved like a woman who came to give everything.

And yes…she kicked her shoes off. Because when Fantasia feels the music, the shoes don’t stand a chance.

Her set was explosive from start to finish, but the moment nobody will forget came at the end.

Fantasia closed the show with a prayer — tapping back into her gospel roots. The arena fell quiet. Hands lifted. People leaned into the moment.

And for a few minutes, it didn’t feel like a concert at all. It felt like church… like healing… like a collective exhale shared by thousands.

An Unforgettable Night in Baton Rouge

From Stacii Adams’ smooth start…to Mr. Magic Mark Williams’ humor and soothing soprano…to Anthony Hamilton and The Hamiltones filling the arena with pure soul…to Apostle Mardia Scott bringing purpose and power…to Fantasia setting the stage on fire and ending the night in prayer…

This wasn’t just a concert.

It was an experience — a celebration of community, culture, music, and Black excellence.

Baton Rouge didn’t just attend a show......Baton Rouge lived a moment.
